MacDaddy Racing stainless steel clutch basket backing plate with bolts for Yamaha Banshee. Eventually, the rubber clutch pucks wear down inside the clutch basket and need to be replaced. Stock Banshee clutch basket backing plates are riveted to the clutch basket and cannot be easily replaced once removed. This is why we sell backing plates with new bolts and pre-chamfered holes. Just remove the rivets on your stock basket and tap the holes using a m8x1.25 tap. Make sure to chamfer the tapped holes on the clutch basket after tapping. After that, replace your worn-out clutch cushions with the brand-new ones and fasten your new backing plate onto the clutch basket using our bolts.

Now, the next time you need to replace your cushions; you’ll no longer require a new backing plate, and you won’t have to deal with removing any rivets.
